How to Rebuild Your Life From Nothing

Have you found yourself in a situation where you have nothing but the clothes on your back and you don’t know what to do?

Don’t get discouraged. It happens to the best of us. I know things may seem bleak and hopeless now, but I promise you it won’t last if you can find the willpower in you to keep going.

Keep reading for actionable steps to take so you can rebuild your life from nothing.

Step #1: Get A Phone

Don’t have a cellphone? Broke and can’t afford a cheap disposable? You can actually apply for a free phone through several assistance programs. Click here to apply to one of them now.

Don’t have access to the internet? Head on over to your local library and borrow one of their computers. The librarians can assist you with anything you need. All you have to do is ask.

Step #2: Make Some Cash

If you need cash fast and you don’t have time to look for a job, here are some options for you:

  1. Sign up for Gig Work Apps: Click here for a list of the 9 best apps to start with.
  2. Use a local temp agency to help you find work.
  3. Use the library computers to build your own website and set up business bank accounts. You can blog for income with affiliate programs, as well as sell your products and services. Click here to learn how you can make money online the cheapest way possible.
  4. Flip and resell items on Craigslist and local BST Facebook Pages
  5. Sell your products and services on the Facebook marketplace and groups
  6. Sign up for apps that let you borrow cash like CashApp borrow, MoneyLion, or Klover.

Step #3: Find A Place to Live

I’m gonna level with you, assistance programs are slammed and pretty much useless right now depending on where you live. Your local library and hospital can tell you about the programs available and how to get help.

Another option is to find someone renting out a room or looking for a roommate. It’s much easier and faster to do that, especially if you have a way to make money and contribute.

Get the Tools You Need to Grow Your Business

Get access to all the suppliers, software, and educational resources you need to grow your business inside a google doc that I’m frequently updating.

This g-doc is organized by topic and contains links to purchase, listen to, or watch every item on the list.

Not only that, but, you can print a copy of the list for yourself any time you want — which is perfect for shopping in bookstores like McKays or Books-A-Million.

You can even bookmark the list in your favorite browser so you have easy access to it all the time.

Pro tip: For Chrome users, create a folder on your bookmarks bar titled “business resources.” Add the link to the g-doc to that folder for easy access to the resources list.

For items on the list that have reviews — like the one you’re reading now — I’ll include a link to the review as well.

Get access to the same resources I’ve used to start and grow several businesses by clicking here now!
